Passport Requirements:

Original passport and one photocopy of passport information and signature page. The passport must be signed, valid for 6 months beyond stay in Uzbekistan, with at least one blank passport page available for Uzbekistan visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Uzbekistan visas.

Uzbekistan Visa Application Form:

Two Uzbekistan visa application forms per applicant completed online, printed and signed. Only online applications are accepted. Signature must be original on each application. Once printed, no correction can be made.

Photo Requirements:

One recent 2 x 2 passport type photograph, in color, front view and with a plain/white background.


OR - you can upload a photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.

Official Invitation:

Formal written request for issuance of the visa must be submitted by the inviting organization in Uzbekistan to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan (address: 9 Uzbekistan St., Tashkent, 700029) Visa is processed when confirmation has been received by the Embassy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Business Cover Letter:

Letter from employer or sponsoring company in the US, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit in Uzbekistan. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Uzbekistan.

The Consulate of Uzbekistan requires an official business letter to support your application. To generate a Uzbekistan Business Cover Letter on-line, simply request this service and provide your information using the simple online form in your Visa Application Kit, which you will receive once you place your order.

Special Instructions:

If your stay in Uzbekistan exceeds 3 days, you are required to register with the Ministry of Interior local department within 3 business days after arrival. A registration stamp is placed in your passport. If you stay in a hotel, the hotel administration will register you automatically. If you stay in a private apartment or house, you have to register the passport with the Ministry of Internal Affairs` local department in the district where the apartment or house is located.

For private visits, a letter of invitation issued by the Department of Entry, Exit, and Citizenship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan is required or a letter of invitation from a travel agency in Uzbekistan.
